Deaths Of a mother. In those years was quite common at or after childbirth and I would suppose this was the case.

Warning: Check the dates.

A mother's death date should not be before one of her children's birth dates.

In hierdie geval het ek die volgende geskryf: "All the 'v' 's in this record seem (I stress seem) to be written in the upper case, but I would prefer to keep it in the lower case (protect as) because I think the scribe just happened to use big "v" 's ....".

<ref ><font color=blue>Although the 'V' in Van Jaarsveldt is obviously written in upper case, for the purposes of this project and keeping to the homogeneity of Dutch, Afrikaans and French customs to start suffixes in the lower case, the lower case convention will be the kept in this particular instance by putting the name as it is conventionally spelled in the current name box (or in the bio in case she has a married name).

Dirk jy skryf May 30, 2016 "LNAB Van Emmenes with capital "V"?"

Well done Dirk Thank you very much
